One thinks of boats and ships of antiquity and those that are modern – there were or are longboats, dugouts, sailboats, schooners, paddle steamers, steamships, catamarans, cruisers, destroyers, gunboats, landing crafts, dinghies, dabchicks, yachts, and rubber ducks.

Where does our Tigger 2 Royale fit in? She’s a flagship of our charter boat industry in Cape Town. Additionally, she’s a breathtaking beauty of a boat – a sleek, white, and streamlined, twin turbo diesel powered luxury catamaran, used for providing private and non-private charter leisure cruises for our passengers.

Catamaran Cruiser

There’s still more to be said of the Tigger 2 Royale and her memorable boat cruises. Because our vessel is a catamaran, she offers much more stability if and when the ocean becomes a little choppy. This is because her double hull offers less resistance to the movement of currents, wavelets, and whitecaps, providing a more comfortable cruise to our guests on board.

Features

The Tigger 2 Royale also has an ample reserve of power with a maximum speed of 22 knots. Her pair of 530 HP turbo diesel engines are mounted inboard, thereby minimising the engine noise when passengers are on board and cruising comfortably at our average speed of 12-16 knots

There’s room aplenty, even when we’re cruising with our maximum number of 70 guests. The distinctive white leather interior furnishings are designed for luxury and comfort, subtly following the gentle curves of the dual hulls. Our catamaran features separate ladies’ and gents’ facilities, a main dining area, a bar, and a chill lounge, which we convert into a dining area, when required, when we seat up to 40 guests for a plated dinner.
