Want to Know More About Boat Cruise Waterfront Trips? Here Is What to Expect
Would you like to soak up the magnificence of Cape Town’s coastline as the sun sets over the Atlantic? Join us for a boat cruise Waterfront experience. You may already have known that most major port cities in the country offer various charter boat trips for guests looking to venture out beyond the shore. In our opinion, the best location to enjoy a relaxing cruise is in the Mother City itself. Countless local visitors partake in the activity every year, and it is a popular option for birthdays, anniversaries, and even engagements. If you are looking to join in on the fun, there is no reason why you should settle for anything less than a VIP experience. We at Tigger 2 can offer you an exceptional trip to highlight your visit to the world-famous Cape Town.
Join Us for a Daily Boat Cruise Waterfront Trip
We offer sunset cruises every evening, and this is our most popular option with our luxury fast cruiser, the Tigger 2 Royale. Our vessel is a 55-foot power catamaran with two 530-hp, inboard, turbo-charged diesel engines which take it up to a top speed of 22 knots. More often, however, you will find us cruising at a relaxing 12 to 16 knots, the perfect pace for taking in the surrounding sights and enjoying the glorious sunset atmosphere. Our luxury yacht can accommodate up to 70 people and is widely known as a celebrity favourite for those out-of-town A-listers looking for some local fun. In the case of unfavourable weather, passengers are still guaranteed a comfortable, dry trip and can relax in our chill lounge or at the bar. We also always travel with the highest safety standards in mind, with full, SAMSA-compliant safety equipment on board, as well as a 75-person life raft, life jackets with lights, and a fire detection system.
What to Expect and How to Prepare for the Experience
When joining us for a Tigger 2 Royale-style sunset cruise, you will be welcomed aboard with a glass of sparkling wine. You are free to ask any questions and we will do what we can to make you feel comfortable and spoiled. We will then sail straight to Clifton 4th Beach or to Table Bay Blaauwberg, past Robben Island if the weather changes. Since you will be witness to scenic views of the coastline, including famous landmarks like Table Mountain, be sure to bring a camera along. Capturing the spectacular sunset scenery is easy when the warm lighting sets the stage perfectly. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like seals and dolphins too. Late afternoons and evenings in Cape Town are sometimes windy, so bringing along a light jacket to keep you warm is a great idea. Our sunset cruises last about one and a half hours, and we even offer the service on a private basis too.
