Our Romantic Valentine’s Aboard a Luxury Charter Boat
Valentine’s Day is a normal working day for most people when this special romantic celebration takes place on a weekday. Couples who celebrate romance and their love typically go out on a romantic date to a place or venue that has a special significance and/or a particularly romantic ambience.
Valentine’s Eve 2019
At Tigger 2 in Cape Town, our 2019 Valentine’s Day celebrations were actually Valentine’s Eve festivities. Because this year’s Valentine’s Eve events have already taken place, it gives us great pleasure to briefly share some feedback of our luxury romantic cruises.
Valentine’s Day dawned and remained one of the best summer days the Cape had to offer, with temperatures reaching 33 °C. There was no wind and the pristine blue ocean waters remained flat and calm – perfect for our Tigger 2 Royale romantic charter cruises, as well as guests who were unaccustomed to ocean sailing, even in stunning conditions.
At our mooring at the V&A Waterfront, 32 loving couples were welcomed aboard with a delicious Aperol Spritz cocktail, setting a romantic mood prior to departure. The ladies also received a rose – the flower of romance and love. Later on, while at sea to view the spectacular sunset, our passengers spotted whales on their playful journey around the Cape and our guests were treated to a chilled glass of lovely sparkling wine to celebrate the stunning sunset.
Our Valentine’s charter cruises were fully booked – some had reservations for the Sunset Cruise, but most chose the Sunset & Dinner option. Both were great, romantic Valentine’s Eve successes.
