Come Cruising with Us in Cape Town
Does the ocean hold a special fascination for you? Do Cape Town, its suburbs, and the general surrounding areas do likewise? If so, you’re in good company, because most people feel this way about the Cape and everything that makes it so unique and attractive.
A Must-Do Activity
Cape Town has so much to offer that it’s almost impossible to pinpoint one or two attractions that make the Cape what it is – one of the most beautiful, desirable cities in which to live, work, and play. Our luxury charter boat cruises that operate from Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront are fast becoming one such attraction – a must-do, at least once.
At Tigger 2, our Cape-Town based charter boat cruise company founded in 1996, we offer a collection of luxury cruises to suit almost all occasions, preferences, and budgets. We also regularly introduce new cruise options, some of which are geared to the time of year, the season, and public demand. From time to time, we post special offers and rates on our website, so it’s always worth your while to visit our site periodically to ensure that you don’t miss out on a great deal and memorable experience.
For the 2018/2019 South African summer season, we’ve introduced a brand new super Sunday Sundowner & Dinner Cruise. This option ran from the 7th of October to the 23rd of December 2018, and then resumed again on the 13th of January 2019. It ceases at the end of April 2019, because it’s no longer high summer in Cape Town thereafter, and we know not to mess with the Cape weather in the hope that it will be fair and fine.
This lovely, relaxing, and leisurely 3-hour cruise commences with an Aperol Spritz cocktail, as you board our luxury cruise boat, the lovely Tigger 2 Royale. While you sip a sundowner, we sail from the V&A Waterfront all along the picturesque Cape coastline, passing Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and Signal Hill, en route to Clifton 4th Beach and Camps Bay, weather permitting.
If Cape Town’s weather doesn’t comply, we’ll cruise along the coast towards Milnerton and Blouberg, passing Robben Island on the return leg. If neither is deemed safe by the skipper, we cruise around Table Bay. We stop while an informal dinner – delectable canapé platters – is served. All the while, our DJ provides crowd-pleasing music.
As an optional extra, depending on passenger numbers, the services of our drone photographer may be engaged to record the fun and festivities aboard your sensational Cape Town boat cruise – a lovely reminder of an inimitable Sunday spent aboard, enjoying the luxuries offered on Tigger 2 Royale.
