Christmas is a truly special time of year, even for people who don’t celebrate Christmas, because the end-of-year festive and major holiday season is also known as the Christmas holidays. Many companies, especially those in the manufacturing and building industries, close completely during the December Christmas holiday season and only reopen well into January the following year.

The holiday season means lots of leisure time, holidays away from home, tourism and travel, sensational holiday destinations, and enjoyable activities for holidaymakers. Tigger 2, our company, was founded in 1996. Tigger 2 Royale, a seafaring lady worthy of royal status, was acquired in 2008, so she is a state-of-the-art vessel in the catamaran class, comprehensively equipped with modern marine technology, the latest luxury boat furnishings and fittings, and top-quality safety equipment.
Non-Private Christmas Charter Specials
Our non-private cruise charters for up to 65 passengers (or up to 40 people if a plated, seated meal is to be served) normally cost less than expected, but our special offers around Christmas time are even more affordably priced, thereby enabling more Christmas visitors and holidaymakers in Cape Town to experience a variety of luxury boat cruise options. Some of our packages include the following:
- Sunset cruise – This is a firm favourite, starting from only R400 per person during the 2018 Christmas season.
- Lunch or dinner cruise – This package starts at R660 per person and the rates depend on your menu choice. These choices include braais, canapé or sushi platters, and a lovely 4-course dinner.
- Sunday sundowner & dinner cruise – This option is R890 per person, and is a leisurely, informal affair, as are most Christmas season Sundays in the Cape. A choice of professionally prepared meat, sushi, vegetarian, or seafood canapé platters take care of even the most peckish passenger’s palate. The cruise also includes on-board DJ entertainment and the services of a drone photographer (cruise DVDs are an optional extra purchase).
